Unbeknownst to Me, I had Diabetes for 2 Decades Before I Was Diagnosed. I Simply Got Out of My Chair One Morning, Fell to the Ground and Broke Both Feet, Both Ankles, Both Hands & Both Wrists. I Did Not Walk Again for Three Very Long Years, and in the Meantime, I Died for Over 45 Minutes, and Had a Difibrulator Implanted in My Chest. I Have Something They Call Low QT Syndrome ...My Heart Beats Too Fast.
Luckily When The Heart Problem Occured, I Was in the Hospital and My Life Was Saved. I Spent over 5 Weeks in a Medical Coma, Just to Wake Up and Die Again ...My Kidneys Had Stopped Working. I Spent the Next Two Weeks Having Dialysis Twice a Day and That is When The Doctors Medically Induced My Death Again a Few Times Over to Implant My Difibrulator. The Only Reason I am Alive Today ...Is The Grace of God, My Faith, Belief, Great Doctors and Alot of Prayer!
At Age 49, After Having Just Lost My Husband to Liver Disease, and My Dear Nephew in Iraq the Month Before ...I Died. When the Doctor's Brought Me Back, and After Many Trips in an Ambulance to The V.A. in Gainesville, Florida; The Doctor's Said I Would Probably Never Walk Again, and with No Family or Friends Around... They Were Going to Put Me in a Nursing Home for the Rest of My Life! I Told Them ..."Wait Just a Minute, I'm Too Young, and I'm NOT Going to Spend the Rest of My Life in a Nursing Home"!
I Cried, I Prayed & I Fought Them and Remained in My Little Cabin on a Lake Here in Florida, By Myself, Only Seeing Someone When My Nurse or Caregiver Came In to Take Care of My Needs, Which Were Many as I Could Not Walk, I Could Not Get Up Out of My Recliner; I Could Not Even Bathe or Make Food to Eat, I Could Not Drive or Leave My Home or Take Care of My Beloved Pets. My Heart Problem & Diabetes Had Taken My Strength and I Could Not Even Move Below My Waist or Barely Use My Arms & Hands to Pick Up Things or Feed Myself! I Was Basically Alone for Most of the Day & Night.
Folks, That Was a Very Long Three Years ...But I Had Faith & Belief and Did Alot of Praying Both Day & Night! I Just Knew There Was Someone & Something Out Here That Could Help Me in My Health Situation, I Was NOT Ready to Simply Give Up & Die!
It Was a Little Over a Year Later, When I Met My New Loving Husband, and I Began to Improve and Even Started to Take a Few Steps at a Time. Now I am Walking Again and Wearing Real Shoes, Ha! Who Would Have Imagined That?

Thank you Gary and Viktoria for sharing with us such a wonderful story.
I agree that health is very important and this is why I exercise 6 days a week and eat healthy. I want to enjoy life for as long as I can so if I intend to be around for my family, friends and other loved ones, it is important to not neglect my health.
So, I would advise anybody to take care of themselves. Go for walks, ride a bike, do an activity that you enjoy that will get your heart rate up; even swimming, and implement healthy eating habits. You could be saving your own life by putting these things into practice.
Life is a blessing...
