- I am a child of God who is trying to serve HIm in all I do. I grew up in NJ, went to school in PA and OH. Moved to Washington D.C.
I went on a camping trip to WV in 1975. Someone was looking for someone to take over caretaking for an old farmhouse. I opted in, moved out the next week, sans anything electrical - since there wasn't any electricity. I've been in WV ever since.
My husband, George is a river man - having navigated the waters of Pittsburgh. Now he is semi-retired, still piloting the ferry between WV & OH. Our son, John Paul is 24; went to PA Culinary School and now lives in Ohio.
I'm a substitute teacher, mostly Special Ed., now reporting for a weekly newspaper. I love gardening, reading, and - tho don't take the time often enough, being outdoors.
